These terms explain how VELA works and what we expect from each other. They are written in plain language.

Who these terms are for

These terms apply to anyone who uses the VELA website: talent who sign up, and client contacts who browse and request bookings. VELA Agency is a promo staffing service in Gauteng, South Africa.

Using VELA

Use VELA only for real promo staffing work. Do not copy other people's information, try to get into accounts that are not yours or use VELA to send unwanted messages.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details to yourself. Give true information and keep it up to date. Talent must be 18 or older. VELA reviews each talent profile and may approve, decline or suspend it.

Bookings and offers

VELA creates bookings and offers them to selected talent. An offer is only confirmed once the talent member accepts it. Clients request bookings through VELA, and VELA confirms who works. Pay, times and venue are set out in the offer.

Photos and profiles

Talent photos are shown to approved, signed-in clients only if the talent member agreed. Do not upload photos of other people or photos you do not have the right to use. You can withdraw photo consent at any time.

Our responsibility

VELA works hard to keep the service available and your information safe. We cannot promise that the service will never be interrupted. VELA is not responsible for how a client or venue behaves, but tell us and we will look into it.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms we publish a new version here. Keep using VELA only if you agree with the new version.
